Bee wax

“Nectar of the gods”
Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of beauty, used honey and beeswax for her beauty masks and Hippocrates prescribed honey for fever, injuries and for wound treatment. Since the ancient time it was used for its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties as well to help treat skin conditions like acne or eczema. Beeswax has a great mixture of proteins, amino acids, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that nourishes the skin without clogging up the pores and giving a protective barrier.

Cacao

Cacao contains Vitamin C , magnesium and it´s well-known for its antioxidant protection. Magnesium is anti-inflammatory and can help calm redness and helps to reduce acne problems. Cacao is rich in antioxidant flavonoids and the help to repair skin damaged by UV sunlight and environmental toxins.

Chamomile

The ancients Greeks used chamomile in medicine for its therapeutic properties. Chamomile contains among others essential oil, flavonoids, polyphenols, phytochemicals coumarins, calcium, magnesium with antiseptic and soothing properties for the skin.

Cedar

It´s full of antioxidants and gives the skin the boost it needs. Cedarwood can help to calm irritated skin and balances the sebum production while it helps to reduce acne, blemishes and even pigmentation. The aroma of cedar relieves tensions and stress.

The Hippocratic Code mentions more than 60 of its medicinal uses. It was suitable for the treatment of skin diseases, as a healing ointment and as an antiseptic in wounds and burns and for gynecological diseases.
We use only Greek olive oil in our products because it's considered as the best in the world.
